Klaten Al-Aqsa Grand Mosque is located on Jl. Solo - Jogja, Peraksangkal, Jonggrangan, Kec. Klaten Utara, Klaten Regency, Central Java. Its strategic location makes this mosque always crowded.
Al Aqsa Grand Mosque is the grand mosque of Klaten district which was built since 2012 on an area of 5,266 square meters during the reign of Regent H. Sunarna, S.E, M.Hum and completed during the next regent.

The land on which the Al-Aqsa Grand Mosque stands was once the main bus terminal in Klaten while the parking lot and garden was once one of the Klaten State 3 High School buildings. Klaten Main Bus Terminal was then moved to near Klaten ring road.


Built with three floors equipped with a large garden and parking lot, and equipped with a 66.66 meter high tower with a 35 meter high viewing tower. This mosque can accommodate approximately 3000 worshipers.
